Texas Ranch Road

8x10 oil on stretched linen canvas
$250 (email me if interested)
Jim and I drove around this weekend so I could take some pictures. We turned off onto this road that was one lane with cattle guards. We went for a couple of miles until it ended at the Guadalupe River. Even though it is a public road I am sure it is used mostly by the rancher that is on both sides of the road. This is one of the few places left here that hasn't been touched by developers. So sad.

Hi Kim, I clicked on your Picasa slide show..so nice to see many of your paintings at once. What I like about this one is the road on the edge of the painting. It's a strong element but works to balance the large tree. Gutsy!

Hi Kim!
Mom (Delma) told me you had a blog so I've stopped by to check it out. I see that Poston creativity has been passed down to you. I love your paintings! They all remind me of TEXAS in a big way. My creativity has come out in textiles...fiber woolens...knitting...LOL. I sure would like to see you some day before we both die :-)

My blog is http://socksformum.wordpress.com

Why don't you come visit us in Colorado and paint some Colorado scenery?
