The next best thing to painting plein aire is coming home and being able to paint from your photos. It takes me back to being at that location and what a good time I had with my Mom and daughter.

Kim, Mission San Juan Capistrano is one of my all time fav missions. Wonderful people working there as well. It is ALWAYS such a pleasure to be there not to mention a revival of the mind and spirit. Lovely work.
Your pieces are really inspiring. Landscapes are so much more challenging than they look, and you pull them off beautifully:)
